Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of lucidobjects.in and anything you buy from us. By placing an order you accept them, so please read them first.
In these terms, "we" and "us" mean Lucid Objects, of No 214, MATESHWARI SADAN, 1st Floor, Flat Number 2, 7th cross, R.H.B. Colony, Garudachar Palya, Bengaluru: 560048, trading as Lucid Objects. "You" means the person placing the order.
1. Who can buy
You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872. If you are under 18 you may only order through a parent or guardian.
2. The cameras
We sell a small, handpicked catalogue. Specifications on each product page come from the manufacturer's own documentation and we transcribe them carefully, but we do not manufacture these cameras and cannot independently verify every figure.
Photography is shot to represent the product honestly. Screens vary, so a finish can look slightly different in your hand than on your monitor. That difference on its own is not a fault, though it is a perfectly good reason to return something under our refund policy.
Country of origin is stated on each product page and in our shipping policy.
3. Prices
All prices are in Indian Rupees and include GST where it applies.
We may change prices at any time, but never after you have paid. The price you were shown at checkout is the price of your order.
Shipping is shown separately at checkout before you pay.
4. Mistakes in prices and stock
We are a small shop and occasionally something is listed wrongly. If a camera is listed at an obviously incorrect price, or turns out to be out of stock after you have paid, we will contact you, and you can either confirm the order at the correct price or take a full refund.
We do not have to sell at an incorrectly listed price. We will always tell you before doing anything, and a refund in this situation is unconditional.
5. Payment
Payment is taken at checkout through our payment provider. We do not see or store your full card details at any point.
6. When your order becomes a contract
Placing an order is an offer to buy. Our confirmation email acknowledges that we received it, and is not yet acceptance.
The contract forms when we hand your parcel to the courier and send you tracking. Until then we may decline the order, and clause 4 sets out the situations where that is likely.
7. Delivery and risk
Delivery timelines are in our shipping policy and are estimates, not guarantees, because the courier leg is not something we control.
Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.
8. Returns and cancellations
Set out in full in our refund policy, which forms part of these terms.
9. Warranty
We warrant that goods reach you in the condition described and free of manufacturing defects.

Nothing here limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, including in respect of goods that were defective at the point of sale.
This warranty does not cover accidental damage, liquid damage, normal wear, damage from a third-party accessory or charger, or any camera that has been opened or modified.
10. Limits on our liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Subject to that, our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost income, lost data, or lost photographs.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Bengaluru, India have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to any right you have to bring a consumer complaint before a consumer commission where you live.
12. Complaints
Our grievance officer's details are on our contact page. Complaints are acknowledged within 48 hours and resolved within one month.
13. Your use of this site
The site, its photography, its copy and the Lucid Objects name are ours. You are welcome to link to us. Please do not copy the photography or the product copy for another shop.
Please do not attempt to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the site or the store behind it.
14. Privacy
How we handle your data is set out in our privacy policy.
15. Changes
We may update these terms. The version in force for your order is the one published when you placed it, so a later change cannot alter an order you have already made.
